En prévision de la Journée Internationale des Musées célébrée le 18 mai de chaque année depuis 1977, la surnommée “gardienne de la culture congolaise et africaine par la coiffure traditionnelle”, Princesse Sarah LUNSADISA NGAMBA, a pris la parole, jeudi 16 mai, devant l’assemblée venue pour la circonstance, en vue de démontrer l’importance de la culture dans le développement des nations et l’impact d’une éducation culturelle basée sur les valeurs identitaires par la coiffure traditionnelle et le langage vestimentaire africain.

Par la même occasion, cette femme aux vertus (qualités) légendaires et Coordonnatrice Nationale du géant Centre Culturel “MWASI UZUR’ART”, a largement échangé avec les élèves conviés à ces assises, notamment sur la nécessité pour tout un chacun d’eux de connaître son identité culturelle, les origines de la coiffure traditionnelle, le style vestimentaire africain à adopter et promouvoir, sans oublier l’amour-propre qui va avec.

Princesse Sarah LUNSANDISA NGAMBA a, en outre, tiré la sonnette d’alarme sur le danger de l’utilisation abusive des produits de beauté artificielle, reconnus comme principales sources des maladies allant d’Alzheimer au Cancer.

Devant la Presse, l’ambassadrice de la coiffure traditionnelle a rassuré de mener le plaidoyer sur l’intégration de l’éducation culturelle aux programmes scolaire et académique du pays, l’unique solution, selon elle, d’inciter les enfants congolais à cultiver leurs valeurs intrinsèques considérées comme patrimoine national immortel.

Tenez ! Le Musée National de la République Démocratique du Congo à Kinshasa a servi de cadre pour ces assises de 48H, organisées sous le thème “Musée, Éducation et Recherche”.
