Fin des sanctions de l’Union Africaine contre le Gabon

L’Union africaine décide de lever définitivement ses sanctions contre le Gabon.

La résolution a été prise mercredi 3O avril deux semaines après la victoire à la Présidentielle de Brice Clotaire Oligui NGUEMA, président de la transition.

Le pays avait été suspendu des instances de l’organisation après le coup d’État d’août 2O23 au motif du règne de plus de cinq décennies par la famille BONGO.

Le Conseil paix et sécurité de l’UA considère que la transition ayant renversé Ali BONGO est une réussite et décide de lever immédiatement les sanctions imposées au Gabon.
