Le Président de la République, Félix Antoine TSHISEKEDI Tshilombo, qui a présidé ce vendredi 21 juin à la Cité de l’Union Africaine, la deuxième réunion du Conseil des ministres du Gouvernement Suminwa, invite les membres de l’exécutif national à procéder instamment à des mesures efficaces devant stabiliser le taux de change, étant donné que l’économie nationale est inéluctablement dollarisée avec un impact redoutable sur le panier de la ménagère congolaise.

Dans l’intervalle, la Banque Centrale du Congo (BCC), institution de droit public chargée de maintenir de la stabilité monétaire de la République Démocratique du Congo, a ordonné aux sociétés financières et établissements de crédit de définir leurs Terminaux de Paiement Électroniques (TPE) pour n’accepter dorénavant que la monnaie officielle du pays, autrement dit le Franc congolais, relancé le mardi 3O juin 1998 après son usage de 1887 à 1964.
