Depuis Nairobi, lors de sa participation samedi 15 mars à la réunion consultative des Ministres des affaires étrangères et de la Défense de huit États membres de la Communauté d’Afrique de l’Est (EAC) sur la crise sécuritaire et humanitaire dans l’Est de la RDC, la cheffe de la diplomatie congolaise a formulé un certain nombre de recommandations au groupe politico-militaire Alliance Fleuve Congo (AFC) de Corneille NANGAA.

Il s’agit de :

✓ La réouverture des aéroports de Goma et Kavumu ;

✓ L’observation d’un cessez-le-feu inconditionnel ;

✓ Le retrait immédiat des troupes rwandaises et du M23/AFC ;

✓ L’ouverture d’un couloir humanitaire.

Dans la foulée, Thérèse KAYIKWAMBA a plaidé pour une réponse régionale coordonnée et efficace, l’application des décisions du Sommet EAC–SADC du 08 Février à Arusha ; le durcissement du caractère contraignant de la Résolution 2773 du Conseil de sécurité de l’ONU et l’impératif de sa mise en œuvre immédiate.
