Présidentielle au Rwanda : Paul KAGAME sur les trois candidatures retenues

Pour un scrutin dont les résultats des urnes semblent presque connus de tous selon une certaine opinion, la Commission Électorale Nationale (NEC) au Rwanda a officiellement dévoilé, jeudi 06 juin, la liste provisoire des dossiers retenus pour l’élection présidentielle du lundi 15 juillet prochain.

Au total, trois postulants ont été retenus par la NEC sur les neuf dossiers déposés. Il s’agit du Chef de l’État sortant, Paul KAGAME, le député Frank HABINEZA et l’Employé du ministère de l’unité nationale et de l’engagement civique, Philippe MPAYIMAN.

Les six autres candidatures dont celle de la célèbre opposante Diane RWIGARA, ont été écartées pour manque d’un certain nombre de documents essentiels.

Au pouvoir depuis mars 2OOO, le Président rwandais, Paul KAGAME, candidat à sa propre succession pour un quatrième mandat, a été réélu avec plus de 9O% des voix en 2OO3, 2O1O et 2O17.
