Depuis la première heure de ce jeudi 3O janvier, les tirs n’ont pas été entendus dans la ville de Goma, indiquent nos sources, contactées ce matin, selon leur constat fait particulièrement à l’ouest et au centre de la ville.

La circulation reste timide dans les rues de la capitale du Nord–Kivu, les lignes téléphoniques, l’internet, l’alimentation en eau potable et l’électricité n’ont pas encore été rétablies, sans oublier l’aéroport international de Goma toujours fermé, a-t-on appris.

Dans un sens d’éveil patriotique face à l’ennemi, la population gomatracienne garde l’espoir de voir les terroristes du M23-RDF être définitivement repoussés hors de la ville, conformément au serment fait par le Gouvernement central puis renouvelé mercredi 29 janvier dans la soirée par le Président de la République,
Félix TSHISEKEDI, Chef de l’État, commandant suprême des Forces Armées de la République Démocratique du Congo (FARDC) et de la Police, lors de sa première adresse à la nation depuis l’intensification de cette crise dans la partie Est.

Sachez aussi que depuis les dernières 24H, plusieurs ambulances de la Croix–Rouge sillonnent fréquemment la ville de Goma pour récupérer des corps sans vie et effectuer un transfèrement à la morgue.
