La Conférence Épiscopale Nationale du Congo a annoncé ce jeudi, l’avènement d’une nouvelle équipe à la tête de cette plate-forme d’ordinaires de la hiérarchie catholique en République démocratique du Congo créée en 1962.

Monseigneur Fulgence MUTEBA, Archevêque de Lubumbashi dans la province du Haut-Katanga, succède à Monseigneur Marcel UTEMBI, en poste depuis 2O16.

Dans la foulée, Monseigneur Etienne UNG’EYOWUN, Évêque de Bondo, occupe désormais le poste de Premier Vice-Président et Monseigneur Jean-Bertin NADONYE, Évêque de Lolo, deuxième Vice-Président.

Reçu en audience par le Président de la République, Félix Antoine TSHISEKEDI Tshilombo, le nouveau bureau de la CENCO a rassuré qu’il remplira jusqu’au bout sa mission de travailler pour le bien-être du peuple congolais.
